We have spent the last few weeks in Perth catching up with family and friends, attending to medical stuff and buying a new car. We also stayed in Toodyay for a while thanks to Jenni and Dave. We have such lovely friends in Perth.
We left Perth by car on Tuesday 27th March and drove about 700kms to Frasers Range caravan park east of Norseman. It was our first attempt at camping in our new tent and it went surprisingly well.
The next day we drove across the Nullarbor to Eucla, and the following day to Minnepa in South Australia. We came across quite a few lone cyclists doing the big ride. The two that we spoke to were both English, one heading west and the other heading east. There was also one guy cycling east who was trying to break the world record for cycling around the world in the shortest time. He was doing about 300kms per day, and cycling from dawn until about 11pm every night. We can't wait to get back on our bikes when we get to Tasmania.
