Sunday 3rd June 2012 Sydney to Buladelah by car

We spent a very pleasant week with Jacquie and Tony who live in Mosman. They have a lovely place overlooking the harbour which is only minutes from Balmoral beach. Balmoral has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and they are fortunate enough to be able to go for a swim there almost every day.

We met up with Jim and Julie who were on their way to Denver, Colorado, and had a most memorable lunch with them at an Italian restaurant called Beppi's.

The Circular Quay area of Sydney was having a "light festival", which used very powerful laser equipment to project images on to the Opera House and other buildings. The images were animated and/or video cast. It was the best that I have ever seen. It made the Singapore Light Show look patheticly amateurish.

The Pacific Highway which goes north from Sydney to Brisbane is double lane freeway almost all the way - nice and easy.
