A large part of Nantes is pedestrian-only, which really makes for a peaceful atmosphere. We were lucky enough to arrive on the weekend of their Spring Carnival. The whole city seemed to be dressed up and celebrating. The weather has finally improved dramatically - the sun is shining and the temp. today was about 20c. We are slowly recovering healthwise, but not yet 100%.
The French have turned bread-making into an artform. It really is delicious and the choices are endless.
Tomorrow we set off on the first 70 km leg of EV6. We have finally managed to get our Orange France simcard to work, after much discussion and hand-gesturing. The APN setting had to be re-configured for France and when we get to Germany it will have to be reset again.
