Tuesday 9th April St. Malo to Tenteniac 63 km.

St.Malo has some very beautiful architecture and lovely gardens. The old City which faces the sea was severely bombed during the Allied invasion in 1944, and then restored to perfection over the following decades. We caught the local ferry to Dinard and then, thanks to a very kind local cyclist, we were guided directly to the Voies Vertes Path. The path follows a converted railway line and then along the towpath of the Canal Ille de Rance.

Our phone sim is not working at all, so we will have to do battle with Orange when we get to Nantes. I'm still not well and Les is also feeling off-colour now too. I think that I will be better in a few days.

France is really delightful, and so are the French people.

Route: St. Malo - Ferry to Dinard - Plertuit - Pleslin - Trigalou - St. Samson sur Rance - Taden - Dinan - Lehon - Evran - St. Domeneuc - Tinteniac.

Stayed at Brit Hotel.
