We elected to do an extra detour (14 km) to see the famous Chateau De Chambord, which is said to be the best Chateau in the Loire valley. It was worth the effort.
We've done just on 1000 km since we set off from Bristol, so we're going to take a three day break in Orleans, and perhaps take a day trip to Paris. Orleans seems to be a fairly modernised city.
Stayed at Appart City, Orleans.
Route: Blois - Chambord - Saint Dye-sur-Loire - Muides-sur-Loire - Beaugency - Meung-sur-Loire - Saint Hilaire - Orleans.
