Monday 3rd October 2011 Hunstanton to Kings Lynn 42km

Cycled to Sandringham estate and had lunch there.  It was very beautiful and peaceful.  We also went past Castle Rising where there is an ancient castle where the Black Adder series with Rowan Atkinson was filmed. 

The customs house at Kings Lynn was built in 1683.  At that time the sea shore was right here at Kings Lynn, and now the sea has receded 12km to the north.
