Beautiful ride across the moors and then along the west Cornwall coast. Very steep in places but amazing scenery. We came across some old disused aircraft landing strips hidden in the forests. It turns out that they were used by the RAF during WW2 to launch the North Atlantic patrols to counter the U boat offensive.
We wasted the afternoon trying to find a bike shop in Bude because my disk brake pads are wearing out. We eventually found the place, but it was closed for annual holidays. Bude is a very nice town.
